Agatha Harkness is back in the MCU and the first trailer for her upcoming Disney+ series, Agatha All Along, features a very devilish track that’s left fans wondering “What is the Agatha All Along trailer song?” Florence & The Machine, the famous English indie rock band known for songs such as “Kiss with a Fist” and “Heavy In Your Arms,” lend their musical talents to the trailer with haunting effect. One of their most underrated tracks, “Seven Devils,” makes its latest soundtrack appearance in the Agatha All Along trailer—and gives us some clues as to what might be coming in the series.

Florence & the Machine’s Evocative Track

“Seven Devils” is the eighth track from Florence & The Machine’s Ceremonials album, ironically released on October 31st, 2011. Florence’s strong vocals mix with a hypnotically cool piano instrumental that belongs in a haunted house soundtrack.

The lyrics deliver the singer’s grave warning to a traitorous villain: revenge is coming and no holy power can stop it. “Seven Devils” has also been used for trailers such as 2012’s Game of Thrones Season 2, 2013’s Beautiful Creatures, and, fittingly, 2013’s Revenge Season 2.

Decoding Hidden Meaning in “Seven Devils”

As mentioned, the lyrics  of “Seven Devils” relate to a character seeking vengeance against a mortal enemy, making it the perfect Agatha All Along trailer song to describe the titular witch’s inner turmoil.

When we last saw Agatha Harkness at the end of WandaVision, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch transformed Agatha back into her nosy Westview character, Agnes, as punishment for ruining her happiness with Vision and her children.

The trailer shows Agatha fighting to escape her Westview prison and regain her true form and memories. And now, Agatha’s mind is slowly piecing back together and she must seek revenge on the woman who cursed her: Wanda Maximoff, just like the song lyrics allude to.

The song hints at more than just revenge with the lyrics “A thousand armies couldn’t keep me out. I don’t want your money, I don’t want your crown. See, I’ve come to burn your kingdom down.” This could speak to Agatha regaining her magical powers and destroying anything that gets in her way.

Even the title “Seven Devils” and main chorus lyrics, “Seven devils all around you, Seven devils in your house” could be referencing Agatha forming the infamous “Coven of Chaos,” a group of seven witches including herself and her familiar, Billy Kaplan (aka: Wiccan). With the coven of witches by her side, Agatha can exact her revenge on Wanda and unleash more dark magic into the world just to make her suffer.

“Seven Devils” use as the Agatha All Along trailer song reminds fans that hell hath no fury like a witch scorned.
