The McDonald’s Happy Meal toy for July 2024 features another animated film tie-in. Last month Inside Out 2 Happy Meal toys were at McDonald’s in celebration of the sequel’s release in June 2024. Now, McDonald’s has partnered up with Universal Pictures to bring Despicable Me 4 Happy Meal toys to fans of Gru and the Minions.
Despicable Me 4 tells the story of Gru Jr.’s arrival, and the family’s would-be peaceful life—but it all goes haywire when Maxime Le Mal seeks revenge against Gru.
From June 24 to July 22, 2024, your Happy Meal will come with one of these awesome, interchangeable Despicable Me 4 Happy Meal toys.

Each toy has interchangeable parts, allowing you to mix-and-match among the different Minions.
Also included is a mission card. Scan the QR code to access the mobile game Save the Smiles. In the game, you play as the Minions on a mission to collect McDonald’s smiles.

Despicable Me 4
Despicable Me 4 is the sixth movie in the Despicable Me franchise, following 2022’s release of Minions: The Rise of Gru. The film was directed by Chris Renaud and, in his feature directorial debut, co-directed by Patrick Delage.
You can catch Despicable Me 4 in theaters starting July 3, 2024.
