A new popcorn bucket is coming to town, and this one is actually from Halloween Town. Disney announced on their Disney Eats Facebook page that the Scary Teddy Premium Popcorn Bucket will be headed to Disney Parks in honor of spooky season.
This announcement comes on the heels of the many other Halloween popcorn buckets and sippers being released this year.
Scary Teddy is one of the not-so-merry gifts Jack Skellington can be seeing leaving for unsuspecting children in The Nightmare Before Christmas. When Scary Teddy came to life in the film, the kids were not too keen on welcoming the little ghoul. Now the sharp-toothed toy comes to life in a way that won’t leave you running away screaming.
Scary Teddy Popcorn Bucket Availability
Disney announced the Scary Teddy bucket will be at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Resort. The bucket is only available for a limited time and may also require an event ticket to purchase.
Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom will be selling buckets beginning September 2 during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. The Halloween party is a special ticketed event, so snagging one of these popcorn buckets does require an event ticket.
Disneyland Resort
While Disney has shared that the bucket will be available at Disneyland Resort, they have not released any other details like release date or specific locations.
Scary Teddy Popcorn Bucket Purchasing
Disney is limiting purchase quantities to two per person, per transaction.
Does this mean you can leave the park with more than two Scary Teddy popcorn buckets? Yes. However, you would need to re-enter the line to start a new transaction. This applies to anyone in your party who wishes to purchase more than two popcorn buckets.
