No one can deny that 2024 is the year of the popcorn bucket. Mickey’s Ice Cream truck is a collectible ice cream container that holds your ice cream for serving and eating. And much like Disney popcorn buckets, it also has a strap for easy carrying around Disney Parks.
In an Instagram post, Disney Eats shows the truck in action:
One can’t help but wonder if the introduction of Disney’s collectible ice cream container will usher in the cousin to the popcorn bucket craze, making collectible ice cream buckets the next big trend.
And why stop there? Will theme parks and movie theaters offer collectible candy containers or buckets with more interactive features? Imagine a future where a Boston Dynamics robot dog is themed as Dug and carting your snacks around the park. Of course it’s a wild idea! But to quote Walt Disney, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”

Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck
Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck isn’t just a vehicle for containing ice cream—it’s literally a vehicle! The old fashioned style truck features a a color palette worthy of a classic ice cream shop decked out in mint green, off-white vanilla, and strawberry pink.
The top flap opens to reveal the ice cream compartment. It also comes with a coordinating vanilla soft serve spoon which can be stored on the top of the truck.
And cutest of all is Mickey at the driver’s seat looking the part in his ice cream man attire while Goofy slings scoops in the back.
