Alamo Drafthouse Deadpool & Wolverine Popcorn Buckets
Alamo Drafthouse is mainly celebrating the release of Deadpool & Wolverine with new Deadpool-centric menu items, but they still managed to squeeze in an exclusive Deadpool 3 popcorn bucket. The upscale theater’s Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket is a hollow replica of Deadpool’s head you can fill with your favorite buttery treat. According to Wolverine, the real Deadpool’s head is also hollow.
AMC Deadpool & Wolverine Popcorn Buckets
AMC had one goal when designing their Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn buckets: to outdo their Dune 2 sandworm bucket. By the looks of it, they succeeded. The theater chain offers one bucket for each hero, and they’re both completely off the wall.
On paper, the Wolverine bucket sounds fine. A detailed sculpt of Wolverine’s face attached to a black plastic bucket. In real life, however, this Deadpool 3 popcorn bucket is super awkward. Reaching the popcorn requires shoving your hand down Wolverine’s throat, and if that’s not icky enough, the front of the bucket says “Designed by Deadpool” in red with hearts.
AMC’s second offering is also unsettling, but for different reasons. This popcorn bucket is shaped like “Headpool,” a severed zombie head from an alternate universe that flies around using a propeller hat. Most of Headpool’s skull is exposed, making this popcorn bucket creepier than usual. One thing’s for sure: AMC used their braaaaaiiinnnnsss for this one.
Cinemark Deadpool & Wolverine Popcorn Buckets
Cinemark is offering five—FIVE!—unique Deadpool 3 popcorn buckets. First up is a bucket shaped like Wolverine’s iconic mask with a top that opens up to reveal a secret popcorn compartment.
Next, we have a pair of matching Deadpool and Wolverine popcorn tins. While the tins’ shape is nothing special, the artwork on the side certainly is. The Yellow tin features a gorgeous illustration of Wolverine with his claws popped and ready for action. The second tin is red and features a similar picture of Deadpool grabbing his signature katanas.
Popcorn bucket #4 is the Deadpool Popcorn Taxi. This Deadpool 3 popcorn bucket is fun but impractical for snacking. It consists of a plastic yellow taxi with a small Deadpool on the roof. Remove Deadpool, and you have a nice little sunroof that provides access to the popcorn. Unfortunately, a car interior isn’t the best place for storing snacks, and eating out of this Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket is more of a hassle than it’s worth. Cinemark definitely went with style over function for this design.
Finally, the Deadpool & Wolverine 130oz Popcorn Tin With Characters. Two highly detailed figurines surround what’s essentially a standard popcorn tin. In the front is Deadpool making a shushing gesture with his finger. From his posture, it’s clear he’s hiding from something, but what? Our guess is the angry Wolverine trying to claw his way through the other side of the popcorn tin. We don’t know what Deadpool said to anger his partner, but knowing him, it wasn’t good. Everything comes attached to a black stand, so you don’t have to worry about knocking anyone over when you grab a handful of popcorn.
Regal Deadpool & Wolverine Popcorn Buckets
This list isn’t a competition, but we have a winner anyway. Regal Cinemas has a Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket that is both surprisingly functional and ridiculously cute. The Baby Deadpool collectible popcorn & drink container is hands down the coolest Deadpool 3 popcorn bucket available. Featuring a nearly life-sized Baby Deadpool, this car seat-shaped collectible doesn’t look like a practical snacking option but looks can be deceiving.
You’d expect the baby Deadpool popcorn & drink container to have a cup holder somewhere, and it does—two of them. Unfortunately, there are baby bottles in both of them. So where does your drink go? Inside the popcorn bucket! The top of the car seat lifts up, exposing a hollow interior with a built-in straw. But that’s not all. A hatch flips down on the back of the baby seat, revealing a hidden popcorn compartment. Is this popcorn bucket based on Deadpool & Wolverine or James Bond?

AMC Theaters’ Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn buckets go on sale Thursday, July 25. The Wolverine bucket retails for $29.99 plus tax, while the Headpool bucket will retail for $39.99 plus tax. Each Deadpool 3 popcorn bucket includes a large popcorn and is available at participating AMC theaters while supplies last.
Four of Cinemark’s five Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn buckets go on sale Thursday, July 25th, and are available at participating Cinemark theaters while supplies last. The Wolverine popcorn bucket retails for $25 empty, with a $27 option that includes popcorn on the side. The two 130-oz popcorn tins—Wolverine yellow and Deadpool red—retail for $15 and come filled with popcorn. Meanwhile, the Deadpool Popcorn Taxi will set you back $25 empty and $27 for popcorn on the side.
Cinemark’s fifth Deadpool 3 collectible popcorn bucket, the Deadpool & Wolverine 130oz Popcorn Tin with Characters, is available for preorder online at Cinemark Shop. Cinemark is taking preorders through August 11, 2024, and expects to ship the tins in mid-November.
Regal Cinema’s Baby Deadpool popcorn bucket is available starting July 25 at select Regal theaters while supplies last. The chain’s Deadpool 3 popcorn bucket retails for $39.99 without snacks or $49.99 with an added small combo.
Alamo Drafthouse’s lone Deadpool 3 popcorn bucket will be available at participating theaters from Thursday, July 25, through Sunday, July 28. Alamo’s Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket retails for $25.
